It reflects the life history of one of the greatest presidents of the US, Abraham Lincoln. Thos is one of the great places in the US and is a reflection of the history. This memorial occupies a space in the national mall in the Washington DC. It is actually a tribute to the 16th president of US who saved the nation from the civil war during the period between 1861- 65. Since the year 1922, this memorial is in the news constantly for the great speeches as well as some of the memorable events.

National civil rights museum

National civil rights museum is located in Memphis, Tennessee, USA. It is actually a privately owned complex of museums and historic buildings. This is located around Lorraine Motel at 450 Mulberry Street. This was the place where martin Luther king jr was assassinated on the 4th of April, 1968. This museum reflects the glimpses of the civil rights movement that took place in the year 1600.  James Earl Ray was the person who killed martin Luther king and his finger prints were found on the rifle.  This is a complex that is owned by the nonprofit organization by the name Lorraine Civil Rights Museum Foundation.

4. Ellis Island Immigration Museum

This was restored in the year 1980. After this, there was reopening of the man building in the year 1900 by the name Ellis Island Immigration Museum. This museum reflects the symbol of the immigrant heritage of US. It reflects the broader context of 4 centuries of immigration history of the US. The area of the museum is 1 lac sq feet. One of the key exhibits of this building is French Renaissance Revival structure designed by Boring and Tilton, built in 1900 and restored to its 1918-1924 appearance.
